Start with the width
Width is the one dimension you cannot change later, so start there. The Mini (6.56' wide) fits side yards and patios with one bench and a walkway. The Cottage (7.71') and Modern (8.20') give you a bench down each side. The Classic (9.84') is the one most people end up with: two full beds and a center path you can turn around in. What about the panels?
Nothing to choose here: every Greenlyhouse greenhouse is glazed in 6 mm twin-wall polycarbonate as standard, on every model and every length. Two layers with a deep insulating air gap, about 85% light transmission, UV-protected, and panels that flex under impact instead of shattering. It is the thickness that holds heat through real winters, so we fit it everywhere rather than making it an upgrade.
Which length?
Every model runs from 6.56' up to 39.37' long (22.97' for the Cottage), in fixed steps. The square footage under each length on the product page is the honest way to compare. The rule we repeat all day: if you are between two lengths, go longer. Plants multiply, pots accumulate, and an extension kit later costs more than the longer size today.
Before it arrives
A greenhouse needs a flat, level base: compacted gravel, a slab, or a timber perimeter. Level ground is what makes assembly a calm weekend and keeps the door closing square for years. How to prep it: our foundation and anchoring guide. Not sure about a permit? Most backyard greenhouses do not need one, but call your local building department before you pour concrete.
What is included in the price?
The price on each page is the full kit: galvanized steel frame, twin-wall panels, door, hardware and step-by-step instructions, shipped free anywhere in the lower 48 on a pallet by freight carrier. The carrier calls to schedule a window and delivers curbside. If a part arrives damaged or missing, email a photo and we ship the replacement at no charge.
How long does assembly take?
A weekend with two people for most lengths: frame on Saturday, panels and door on Sunday. Everything bolts together, pre-drilled and labeled, with no welding and no cutting. A cordless drill, a level and a stepladder cover the tool list. Longer models just add panels, not complexity.
